COVID-19 has changed a lot of things including the way people protest. Among various forms of protest, the car caravan has risen to be a popular and safe choice these days. With the mission to defeat Prop 16 and defend Prop 209, Californians for Equal Rights (CFER) has led several grassroots campaigns across the California, such as the car caravan protest in Cupertino on July 3, Fremont on July 11, and Pleasanton on July 18. How to add a flag to your car:

Remember to follow U.S. flag etiquette – “A single flag should fly from the right (passenger) side of the vehicle. If two flags are displayed, it’s okay to put one on each side, but they should be mounted at the same height and be hung in the same way.

The flag should be displayed with the stars in the upper left-hand corner, with an important exception. A flag displayed on the passenger side of a vehicle should show the stars at the upper right-hand corner.”

Write on your car with liquid chalk markers

Liquid chalk markers can be easily purchased online or in store, and their colors are so vivid when writing on car windows. Very easy to wipe off too.

Spell your words with painter tape

Painter tape won’t damage your car body and is also easy to peel off.

Make eye-catching posters or signs

Protests can be artistic. All you need is a creative mind to make it happen.
